Nothing but Respect and Professionalism with Owens Corning Basement Finishing System
July 31, 2008 by admin · 4 Comments
This letter is to attest to the professionalism and respect that the Afflerbach Crew demonstrates for your company. Matt, Shawn, Pete, from the first day showed nothing but respect and professionalism to me and my family. All of my questions were answered, and all three men took the time to explain in detail what was transpiring in my basement and what steps would be taken next. A job well done by all three men.
You should know, in the event that we purchase another home, we will have Owens Corning and Fiber as the finished product, and I will request the Afflerbach crew to do the installation. Again, a job very well done. Read more

Just walk down to your basement and you know it immediately-the basement is different than any other area of your home. It’s cooler, more humid and prone to moisture. The basement also has plumbing and other mechanical equipment that, when covered with drywall, become difficult and costly to access. Owens Corning knew there had to be a better way to finish the basement.

Mold and moisture are big concerns in basements, so they utilized their expertise with fiberglass insulation (we invented it) to create insulated walls that breathe, don’t trap moisture, and make rooms warm and quiet too! The walls are also designed to be quickly and easily removed for access to your foundation and plumbing. Read more

Recently, Owens Corning assigned Mr. Harry Dean to finish my basement with their product. Mr. Dean was more than willing to share his insight on all aspects of the job with me from start to finish. I not only found Harry’s work to be good, he has also proven to me to be professional and considerate of my needs.
Furthermore, due to circumstances beyond the control of my wife and myself, Harry was left by himself in my house throughout much of the project, proving him to be an honest, trustworthy gentleman. Read more
